Ann Linehan

|
Ann Linehan serves as Director of the Quality Assurance Division of the Office of Head Start. For over 25 years she has worked in various capacities within Head Start, beginning as Executive Director at a Head Start and child care agency located outside of Boston, Massachusetts. In 1992, Ms. Linehan joined the Federal government to work in Region I as the Program Manager for Head Start, focusing on the monitoring process to address key quality issues. Ms. Linehan earned her baccalaureate degree in sociology and psychology and her master's degree in education from Boston State College.

Robin Denise Johnson, Ph.D.

|
Robin Denise Johnson is a mentor, author, and educator for leaders in multicultural organizations. Her company, EQUEST Inc. provides keynotes, workshops, education, and leadership coaching in (Dance of) leadership styles, diversity, and multicultural awareness to corporate executives, managers, and educators. She is a graduate of Harvard (Ph.D. and Masters) and Brown University (B.A. International Relations), served on the faculties at the Darden School at UVA, UCLA and Cal Poly University in Pomona, California.
Dr. Johnson translates academic research into actionable advice for practicing managers. Her multimedia products include Dance of Leadership, (providing 5 leadership styles for leading multicultural organizations), Career by Design (a performance management workbook), Ask! (Negotiations strategies for women and people of color), Leading Your Multicultural Team to High Performance, Organizational Behavior: A Multicultural Approach (a textbook) and numerous academic articles.
Dr. Johnson teaches in the UCLA Leadership Institutes for Women, African Americans, Head Start Directors and Multi-cultural Communications executives, and is the founding faculty director of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Leadership Institute. Her first career was as an international finance executive with Chase, McDonald’s Corp and Lloyds Merchant Bank living/working in NY, London, Milan, Brussels, and Penang.
